Fascinating, it has to be said. I can understand how much work it took...

Fascinating? That's good, right?

Thank you! I hope it looks effortless, though, and doesn't seem like hard work. And it's only halfway done!

Didja notice I used your pictures (and gave you credit)? Thank you again for the loan.

fascinating is good. Remember I'm relatively new around here, and have only absorbed a little by osmosis...

I've only found the pic of Jenni so far, but I'm more than happy for you to use the pics, naturally. Actually I think you only have the few I posted on lj of the upstairs-at-garage gig - must do some proper scans. One day.

WRT the wonky people pics, how about a simple table format - pics aligned top in lhs, text in rhs? I'm a strange mac user too, by the way... ;-)

What does WRT mean?
Did you do Jenni's photo? I didn't realize. We've used the Zombina ones on the relevant Bandland page.
The table does certainly need work. Work that I have no energy for. I appreciate the help, though, and if you notice any other things like that, please alert us!
Thanks-
Tammy

I'm beginning to think that wrt is more of a maths/science thing than the internet thing I blithely assumed - the general response is more wtf?

It's with respect to. But anyway.

Didn't realise the photo of Jenni was mine? Pay attention! ;-)

Fantastic result!

It looks really good, and there's so much there to see. Even various stories that I hadn't heard (like the one that Andy R tells about seeing a man hit by a black cab).

I'm using Internet Explorer at work, and it all looks as (I guess) it's supposed to, but in Safari (Apple's new browser) some of the pages like Extended Family looks oddly off-set (some of the pictures are further to the right than they look like they should be -- so mine is on the left, then Jim's photo starts to the right of mine). Have you tried it in a number of browsers for compatibility? I can tell you in more detail from home at some point, if you'd like...

Did I never tell you that story?

Please do check how it looks through your different browsers. Tammy can maybe fix any discrepancies. Maybe. (Maybe with your advice?)

Gosh, that's nice of you!

Like I said, there's a lot more still to come.

I would really appreciate as much input as you can bear to offer on how it looks on your Apple. This would probably be very boring for you, but extremely useful for me. We are checking it where we can, but it's hard to get access to mac-like computers.

Thanks Jenni- you're a pal. Is your summary acceptable? Let us know if you want changes.

At last - I know all the words to "Did She Mention Me"! ("Lake Placid" was fooling me for a long time.)

I have access to my copy of the Melody Maker tape (which wasn't free, BTW), and will scan the cover and send it to you with some details.

(And I'm not sure I'm an "IT professional" - it makes it sound like I can actually fix computers in some fashion!)

Lake Placid was debated as the title of our second album.

I have access to my copy of the Melody Maker tape (which wasn't free, BTW), and will scan the cover and send it to you with some details.

Excellent!

Oh, pish tush. Well, we could put "classics scholar" instead? Or did we already? Feel free to suggest a rewording...

If you wanted to know the words to Did She Mention Me, you could've just asked- or are you being sarcastic? We weren't sure of the necessity of having lyrics on the site, but you've proved that we made the right decision. Thank you.

Are you okay with your mini description? Have we left anything out?

Sarcasm not intended!

I could indeed have asked - had I ever remembered at any of the times I with you (Andy claims he never remembers lyrics anyway). Besides, I like jamming my head up to the speaker and listening over and over again till I figure it out (or not, in the case of "Lake Placid").

The bio's fine, as long as no-one ever asks me to fix their laptop!
